Some Bee Pics

Went out and took a bunch of bee pics, had a few that didn't turn out quite right, those blasted bees just refuse to listen to my directions.

Did manage to get a few that didn't turn out too bad.

Hmmmm. I wasn't to post that many but they didn't show up so I don't know which ones are there. Maybe they'll show up later.

Ok, so 1, 5, and 6 are the ones that weren't as good since I missed the bee. The other ones I kind of like as they turned out ok.

That's an unusually red stripe. Is that bee a B. ternarius?

I did a google search on B Ternarius and they looked just like it but the stripe was definitely more towards the red than orange. The last pic I posted is more orange than the others but they were pretty dark stripes. I was using my flash and then in post I tried to get the green back into the leaves so I may have pulled the blues out a little more but the stripes didn't change much. They were pretty close to what the pictures show.

#3 is especially is very nice, bees in flight are not easy!
