Wow! 3 thumbs up. What a great cross section of Americana.

will require a lot of explaining by those having problems with focusing. very nice selection of shots. y'all come back and visit again now, y'hear?

wonderful masterly captures that truly inspire and expose the beauty hidden beneath the turmoil. love the calm and colorful enthusiasm in all. The Golden Gate bridge is pristine and majestic and the New York music lover is priceless street shooting gold.

Great images, are you working for travel magazine?
Love your fourth shot the trailer shot. Flimsy temporary man made shelter against God made! Wonderful contrast.

Wow ... just Wow...

Lovely work, Jiggedy.

My fave is 'Texas' -- although I would crop a little of the far right (come to think of it, I would crop a little of the far right in the real world too) as I find it a bit distracting.

You got a wonderful crosssection of America! That star track shot is outstanding. You obviously know how to get the most out of your equipment!

Wow! Awesome photos mate!

I especially love the "That Mic" one!

Very nice set! Is the 3rd pic the Grand Canyon? And the Brooklyn Bridge has no EXIF data. Is it an HDR shot? I'm guessing at F16 or F20 for the starbust effect?

Thanks,

Nice pictures.

What, no stop in Vegas? :)

How long was road trip?
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback! I'm really enjoying using this camera instead of my old Canon DSLR and all it's lenses -- especially for travel!

We did stop in Vegas for 2 nights (tour was a small group tour 3 weeks camping San Francisco to New York) but I really only took pics there on my phone as I was enjoying myself too much without wanting to have the camera attached me day and night.

Yep, good spotting -- third pic was the grand canyon. Brooklyn Bridge not sure why the EXIF dropped off but it was a single 30 second exposure on my last night before flying home. F11 ISO 100. Didn't even see the couple that were in the bottom left of the frame until after the exposure was done, as it was too dark with the naked eye, but I'm glad they were there as I think it adds to the scene. Thankfully they had their clothes on or it could have been a different kind of surprise when I checked the viewfinder!

I like your work, this collection of shots, and envy your trip.

I am curious, are you forcing high ISO to achieve a preferred grainy look, i.e. the Mic at Sun Studios, NYC dude with headphones, other shots?
