Canon Image Challenge 100: Best of the Past

We have been fortunate to have made it this far and so long – and it’s time to celebrate our 100th challenge. We have had many great topics in the past; so many that we can’t just choose one as the best.

So your challenge is to select a previous challenge topic and take a great photo to fit it.

Look back over the past 99 challenges, and pick a topic.

As usual, Eligible needs to be a new shot.

Exhibition can be an old photo (or even a new one), but cannot have been shown before.

In each case, please name the challenge # and topic from the past.

If you can't select just one topic, select 3 for Eligible and/or Exhibition and place you best shots out there for us to enjoy.

Trying out my new lens (70-200 f/2.8L II IS USM). It has a reputation for being very sharp. I'll be taking it to the zoo tomorrow.

My vote is to add it to the challenge since you only placed in pending but since I'm a peon and my vote means nothing....... Go for it.

....and sense (sic) youz support my petitions, you are king!

(However, my opinion aside, I sense (correct usage), that we will have to wait for someone with real authority....lol, (grin)...to render a final judgment.

It can stay.

Technically, the pending are those that are either placed there by the Lord & Master of the challenge because they didn't fit the rules, or because the original author placed it there because he/she did not want it voted on.

In any case, because they were never voted on, they were never entered.

So, leave it.

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.

Ok Guys I think I have managed to resize but now not too sure what to do with the photograph that is already there, can someone help as I don't want to delete it as all the comments will be taken away. Also will I post my new Field of Gold in the Pending to see if I have got it right before I move it over to Eligible?

....a simple substitution of image.

Go Edit image, you get a new screen, scroll all the way to the bottom, and you will see:

Upload an image to replace the current image for this image_id.
This will preserve comments and titles and captions etc.

That button will take you into your computer and the new image, just hit upload image, and you will have your replacement.

Ta Da!

one minor caution, up loading larger will disclose or make more prominent any flaws in the image...but I want to see what might be questionable, so this is something I personally want.
