Are they as wide? Or am I missing a conversion? Are they about the same wide feeling?

The Nikon A is 18mm, which has a 28mm equivalent field of view. The Fuji 27mm, has a 40-41mm field of view, so no, not nearly as wide. The Fuji 18mm is basically the same width as the Nikon A.photo perzon wrote:

I've been fighting with the Nikon A, it is easy to get extra large arms and hands unless one watches out. I like the longer lens, like the Leica X1.iamthenewguy wrote:

Actual: 27mm
35mm converted: 41mm
Nikon A
Actual: 18.5mm
35mm converted: 28mm
The Nikon's FOV is quite a bit wider (and more to my liking).

No the others answers were what I was askingIvar Dahl Larsen wrote:
If I understand you correctly, you are asking; " if a FF 28mm Nikon on a X-E1 for instance is the same as a XF 27mm Fuji?" Yes, very Close! The 27 makes 41mm and the 28mm makes 42mm. The Nikon only operates manually of course. I hope that answers Your question. Cheers.
