When I view my images, on my computer, I get a number DSCS 4016. Is 4016 the shutter count? I have a Fuji X-E1 thank you.

No, it does not indicate 6035 previous shots. It is impossible to tell how many shots have been taken. It might have been 1 previous shot with a memory card that had image number 6034 on it (this can easily happen at a camera store). Or it might have been 0 previous shots if your memory card had an image numbered 6035 on it. Fuji cameras will start counting from the highest numbered file on the memory card; it doesn't even need to be a Fuji image file to affect the count. Some camera images will affect the count, others will not.DB3 wrote:

Yes sorry, I should have specified "in a sealed/unopened box". If it truely did 6035 previous shot you might expect there to be some wear on the cameraDB3 wrote:
