I like your picture,

great composition, well done for in camera panorama, and the painting is intéresting.

I have more problem to take in camera panorama with my X20 than with the X10!

it often sow down vefore the end of the panorama. Did you notice this ?

By the way, you'll get a larger image if you pan with the camera in the vertical position...

Thanks, it did take me five attempts to get this result ;-)

About the slowing down, I don't recall but it could be the camera slows down because of the increased processing involved to record the image.
 
This is a fascinating photo of a Russian painting. What I notice is that everyone seems to be a pensioner and that it seems to celebrate the glory of the hey day of the Bolshevik period.

I'd be interested in knowing what the specific topic of this painting was.

Thanks for panos remark. I like doing it manually - brings lots of fun!! :-)
 
Yes. All of my panos are hand held multiple shots using Sony R1, and then stitched using PC software.
