1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. My neighbor has just started throwing money at it. It has rust bubbles under the re-paint, all over. I showed him, but he got angry. Ain't my money. Rich

Shot with E5 and ZD 7-14.

I was lucky enough to have camped beside this for two nights last week.

and, for a complete change of theme, here's a hay paddock just near the creek above

Ok, the first it looks like from the Kornhausbrücke towards Lorraine, the second is in the opposite direction. I could be wrong though ;). Some dramatic sky you got in the third frame.

If you saw the Coen brothers' movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" you'll probably recognize this place. OBWAT was filmed in the tiny town of Edwards MS close to where I live. A friend is opening a little restaurant there in August and wants me to do some frameable shots of the town for her so I went over there yesterday to see what I could find. I will go back early one Sunday when I can shoot the main street without cars but did get lucky on the train. I want to capture the quasi-sepia tones of the movie in some but I'm at a loss. Any ideas? And even if you never heard of the movie, which version do you prefer below?

Are those pics from Ireland ?
Hi Trevor

Just in case that this really was your question: the scenes are from Bern, Switzerland.

Have a nice day

We hike to Sugarloaf trail here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Saturday. This a shot of Mt. Washington from Sugarloaf (Middle).

Not sure what I'm doing this is my first post with a photo.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing this shot. That is a very beautiful part of the country, a part I have only been to once in my more than fifty years. We are hopeful to go there in the fall of 2014. A nice capture of color and scene.

My personal bias is to capture scenes as they are, in all their natural color. However, given the setting you described, I feel the last of the three shots offers a solid choice, soft and very subtle colors without the overpowering at times pure sepia look. Just one opinion among many I hope.

The light certainly makes that Volkswagen a powerful red. It looks well maintained, especially considering the age of it. Thank you for sharing.
