Some amazing images posted here of late, so for a bit of variety, here's a few from me. I tend towards colour, so these images captured in the last few weeks are something of a new territory. C&C would be much appreciated as always!

This is my favorite and a very good informal portrait. Using the corn 90/ guide open or newly wide open is a challenge to focus . But you nailed iris ind nice image.

hi daniel

no1 & 4 are my faves, if i had to choose i would probably go for no 4, love the pose and attitude, and the composition & PP is spot on imo.

Thank you, John and Paul! You've both been posting some very interesting images. Paul, that conversation theme is proving to be inspirational for you, mate!

Here's one I forgot. The light was difficult but FWIW:

Thanks, D! Great street photography takes a great deal of time and dedication (in addition to skill) but I enjoy capturing special moments I see in my day to day life...

Perhaps one day I can give it the time and effort it deserves...

Daniel,

I like #4 best. That said, I found it improves - to me eye, at least - by straightening the verticals based on the edges of the buildings. As it is, the slight counter-clockwise rotation struck me immediately.

I think I'd probably have a hard time out on the street with those lenses Daniel. But it looks like you're very comfortable with them. Very enjoyable set.

All the best
Mike

Thanks, Kookie, you are very likely right - it's late now but will try straightening tomorrow - see if I have room for it in the RAW file!

Mike, these lenses are no harder than the Noctilux are they? Or do you mean the focal length is strange for the street? Yes, the Summicron 90mm is not quite right. Easy to take sneak pics but they don't generally turn out good, unless you do candids.

Sorry Daniel, I didn't put that very well. I meant that I probably wouldn't go home with much to show for my day's work if I stuck to the very wide apertures that you do so well with. My comfort zone is more in the old fashioned 'F8 and be there' area.

Best
Mike
