Lovely images but you are making me jealous! It was totally over-cast with almost persistent drizzle virtually the whole weekend I was there. Useless for photography. Full-on storms would have been better!
I also took a very heavy bag with 2 full frame DSLR's and a host of heavy lenses. It was after that trip that I started to look for alternatives and eventually bought the OMD. Your shots have helped show me that was a good decision. I'm going to California in May.

Visit, yes, esp. in the summer. Live? Noway, esp. in the winter. I'm glad Sam braved the elements to get these photos that we could enjoy sitting at home

It is an extremely marvellous place - been there many times (never taken pics as good as these though) in all weathers. Never fails to lift the spirit
