Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape
So much damage and so much work to put things right again. Hope you and yours are all ok Walt and can make a speedy return to a normal life. God bless.

Sorry for your troubles, the physical can be be replaced but the mental can be tough. I will post some shots of what was left of my house a few years ago. I wish you all the best !!

So Walt...what started the fire?
Thought to be a ember from our trash burner (which had appeared to be out) in some leaves just outside of the workshop. A little trash paper from the kitchen had been burned a couple hours before and watched until it appeared out. Then about 25 minutes later the first explosion from the Workshop notified us, by then the Workshop was involved. Any way that's what the fire investigator said was all he could come up with. Everything in the area was very dry, so it would not take much.

We consider ourselves lucky that the firemen were able to stop the fire in the house with little damage to the contents. It's like turning the barbarians loose to have firemen fighting your house fire, but they do get the job done.

This is what they are for, covering those things we could not.

Today was a photo foray out into the N Georgia mountains. Found several wildflowers new to us. A good day. Life goes on ;-)

Terrible experience!

I hope you can recover your normal life A.S.A.P.
