Having my new I950 for only a few days I am so happy with the printing.
No regret of spending that extrta money.
I seem to have a problem with 4x6 printing. I need some help with this.
do I place my paper as width 4 height 6 and print landscape or do I
resize my graphic to the desired size ?
your help greatly appreciated

OK,

Lets assume that you are printing on 4X6 paper, not printing more than one 4x6 on larger paper.

ALWAYS place the paper in portrait mode (width 4, height 6) in the printer.

If your paper has a tear-off tab on one end (like Office Depot 4x6 paper), then the tab end in up, not on the end fed first into the printer.

Now, when printing from ps7, choose 'print with prieview' and set paper size to 4X6 and whatever orientation, portrait or landscape, that best fits the picture you are printing. The print drivers 'should' pick up the orientation from PS7 but you can check the properties before printing to be sure. I always size my photos to the desired print size, in this case, 4x6, before I print.

Personally, when I'm trying something for the first time, I chose to 'preview before printing' in the pirnt drivers. For the i950 this is on the 'Main' page. Be sure to choose borderless if you want. This option is on the 'page setup' tab of the driver preferences. Now, with the preview, you will see that the print is oriented correctly before you waste any paper and ink.

Good luck.
