Beautiful shots. Wish I had such stuff between home and work, but no dice, just interstate junk.

Really nice use of light & composition.

Greetings,

I really like the shapes, the textures and the yellow/blue colours of this beautiful composition.

I downloaded and, presumptuously, tried my hand at trying to get the viewer "into the scene" a bit more.

Clearly my crop loses the beautiful foreground (foxtails ?) of your composition. Maybe shooting a little closer to the wooden posts, in the original image, with a bit of refocus, would help.

I am by no means expert in these matters, but trying to learn how to use lead-ins etc to involve the viewer in the scene.

Tom

PS You have captured some beautiful skies in your gallery. Many thanks.

Thanks Tom. I did have some other shots of this fence line but I liked this one best.

I love the way you set up that second last tunnel shot. The leading lines in half the frame work really well.

You were definitely in the right place at the right time. The weird light and weather conditions make this otherwise brown place really interesting photographically...

I think these long exposure reflected clouds are getting a bit cliched, but it's the first time I did one that I thought worked:

I also took this yesterday:

Pleasant colors and good pictures.

Very nice all together.

Liked, good pictures.

I like your black and white shot - 'Monolith'. It's very dramatic. Are those real buildings, or ? The angles are interestingly strange.

How did you process the black and white?
