These raw files are now supported. I did a couple of quick high ISO test shots and they have a nice tight noise / grain pattern, easily cleaned up, with none of the ugly artifacts that show up in the high ISO jpegs. Very nice. This camera is looking more and more like a keeper...

Great to hear Ray! I'll download it today.

Thanks Ray. Can you confirm if 4.4 also includes the Nikon custom profiles, or just the Adobe default profile?
There are a whole slew of custom profiles for various Nikon lenses. Unfortunately nothing for the Coolpix A specifically. It seems to default to a Nikkor 18-300 profile. There is also Nikkor 18.5mm f1.8 profile available that you can select, but that's not where it defaults...

Sorry - I should have been more clear. I'm referring to the Camera Calibration Profile under the Develop setting. For many cameras Adobe only supplies their own profile, often called "Adobe Standard." However for Nikon SLRs Adobe includes additional Nikon calibration profiles (e.g. "Camera Standard, Camera Portrait" etc) to more closely match the camera's JPG rendering.

I've never been a fan of Adobe's default calibration profile as I find they often have a magenta bias and skin tones don't render well. I'm hoping they've included the additional profiles in 4.4, hence my question.

Sorry, I was forgetting about that. Yeah, there are alternative profiles, in addition to Adobe Standard. They're not identified as Nikon profiles per se, but they're not there with files from other cameras. Its got camera landscape, portrait, vivid, etc, etc. So I guess that's what you're talking about. Do they match up with the Nikon jpeg settings, for example does Vivid match the Vivid jpeg pretty closely?

In any case, they're there.

That's great news! Yes the profiles are intended to match the equivalent look for the various picture styles that you can select in camera. They're pretty close considering that Adobe had to reverse engineer them.

Thanks for checking, I was hoping that Adobe would include them. Now if they could just do the same for the Fuji X100....
