Lovely pictures. Thank you for sharing.

Just curious, where you got info it's taken with exactly GH2? Photos though are really good, especially with a story behind them.

I know that the photos were taken with a GH2 because the photographer is a friend of mine and he mentioned it. He said that he was hoping to upgrade to a GH3 soon.

He also shoots with an M. Zuiko 45/1.8, but I don't know what his other lenses are.

I was a journalist for eight years and have worked with lots of professional photographers, although I have not worked with Amos. I know him through his sister, who is a journalist with CNN.

Thanks. I always like the Atlantic's and the Boston etc photos and always wish there was more about how the photo was taken (including gear).

Hope it to make it back to my homeland some day when things are better. I appreciate your friend could see Iranians as they really can be.

Nice to see a pro using MFT for pj work.

Slightly OT but I was flipping through the latest issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine and noticed the monthly winners in their photo contest all shot with DSLR's.

Never. seen one contest winner in Outdoor Photography magazine from any MFT shooters. Wondering why is that? Maybe I missed one?

Thanks for posting.

Iranians generally have a good reputation in most parts of the world. I think there are some negative perceptions about Iran in the United States for political reasons, but non-Americans don't share those perceptions.

I'm going to visit Iran later this year myself, for a vacation. I'm very excited, and looking forward to enjoying the hospitality of the Iranian people.

That's a good point, because I buy that magazine and also Digital SLR Photography magazine, which also has competitions that mirrorless cameras never win.

I've entered their competitions a couple of times and never gotten anywhere - not that I would expect to, but it did make me notice the types of cameras they tend to favour.

On the one hand, if a magazine calls itself "Digital SLR" and people enter photos taken with cameras that are not SLRs, then I guess you can expect them to ignore those photos.

On the other hand, they often review mirrorless cameras.

Hard to understand.
