Great pictures in both the Macro and Normal modes. Photos that were taken with half the photo in bright sunlight and the other half in shade could be easily corrected by the software (make two photos and correct each one). The Macro pictures far exceeded my expectations, as did the normal pictures (both in the Automatic mode). I am happy.
Problems:
My AMD chip was not compatible with the Fuji CD; there was a problem downloading the USB driver. FujiCanada Technical Help had me up and running in a few minutes. The operating manual could be a bit more specific as to what buttons to push to change the settings, it takes some experimentation and practice before feeling comfortable outside of the Automatic settings.
