Purchased system with LiPo battery and 200mm extension lens March 2000 and use for studio and photojournalism. Image quality is fantastic with a "pure" image at ISO 80. Noticeable "noise" at ISO 320 but I liken the appearance to that of a 1600 ASA film. Pushable performance in low light indoor sports is not bad although some would say otherwise. Camera has paid for itself already and I would purchase another without question.
Digital workflow is simply too smooth!! Shoot, transfer, auto-levels, unsharp. Trust the image.

Problems:

Autofocus sucks. I'm spoiled by Canon's servo focus but if your subject is moving with an E-10 you need to zone focus.
After cooking off about 15 shots in warm weather, The camera will NOT focus manually or AF. Must turn it off and on...Probably needs repair...
At wide angle, images are soft on the edges at 140mm you get less than 92% of your viewfinder, it's more like 75% as your subject gets much smaller than you think. Buy the 200mm tele and you'll use it!!
