Autofocus sucks. Batteries run out before you can say Double AA. This camera is useless for shooting any type of live event requiring spontaneous picture taking. I shot the Miss Brasil LA Pagaent Saturday night and I felt like smashing this camera it was so horrendously bad. Manual focusing is very difficult, Autofocus takes a lifetime and even then the camera is finnicky and doesn't snap when you want it to. It's always about 4 seconds too late. Then even when the viewfinder says the flash has regenerated it still won't shoot. I don't know why but I missed almost every important shot I was trying to get. Further, I don't mind the fact that I bought 10 sets of 4 rechargeable NIMH batteries, what's bad is having to change them every 15 minutes (and that's without using the rear display). I would say I get about 40 pictures per set of batteries and replacing 4 batteries is too time consuming. I returned my camera to Best Buy this morning and I'm going to switch over to the Sony DSC-707 whenever the recall is over because Best Buy said Sony recalled all the 707's?

Problems:

Sick Autofocus, the camera won't shoot when you want it too, the batteries run out way way too fast and changing 4 of them is a hassle when doing an action shoot.
