A beautiful camera! I bought mine about a week ago and have been
totally happy with it. I researched cameras for nearly a month and at the
end of each day I came back to the A60. Once I ordered it I knew I was
going to be happy with it. I have used Canon cameras for years and
each model is better then the last. The A60 is no different. It offers
complete point and shoot readiness yet is very powerful for the tight
budgeted pro like myself. It supports f/stops from 2.8 up to 8.0 (wide)
and 4.8 up to 8.0 (tele) so it didn't feel like I lost all control. It also
supports a few pro-like modes for newbies. Like the fast and slow
shutter speeds, vivid colors and the like. I bought mine at Newegg.com
for $224 and had it in 2 days, which was great.
Problems:
My only complaint with the A60 is that it only supports Compact Flash
Type I which does limit memory sizes to 256MB and that means you
"only" get 246 pictures on one card...I can live with that. :-D
