Construction is incredible. It's really a pleasure to just take it in your hands. You know, that sort of feeling you get when you have something really well done, physically well made in nearly all aspects in your hands.
Remember the HP calculators ? I had an HP-15c. Same feeling.

Ergonomics are incredible. You have everything right under you finger, easy locatable with your eye in the view finder, logically put on the body. You don't spend time trying to change ISO, EC, WB etc... You spend time shooting. That's simple.

Lens availables are excellent. The 14-54 and 50-200 are top of the line lenses. Sharpness of these lenses looks like it's above the resolution of the CCD sensor, even wide open. About CA and flare : it's simple, I don't get any CA or flare in any circumstance. I don't mean "a really small amount". I mean nada, rien, nothing, zero. About distortion and vignetting : nothing you can detect with the naked eye.

Even if those lenses can be favorably comparared to the best offerings from Canon or Nikon, they are significantly cheaper and lighter.

Image quality is very high. The white balance sensor is great : WB is spot-on even in difficult situations. Images you get straight from the dSLR are nice, colors are spot-on, not "overdone", very respectful of the original scene. Post-processing is very very limited. Most of the time I don't post-process my images anymore.

All in all, it's a very strong competitor in the current dSLR market.

Problems:

The only "cons" I can think of are:
- the noise at ISO 1600 and 3200. Well ISO 3200 isn't nice on any dSLR right now, so the Oly isn't an exception. ISO 1600 could be better.
- software : studio has lot of nice, well thought features, but is full of little annoying wrong details. Since it's software, it can be upgraded later. In fact it's already envisaged in the menus.
