Nikon is the brand I love and will not change for anything else and D70 is one of those cameras you don't want to let go as soon as you put your hands on it, but...
Images ARE SOFT. Yes, it lacks sharpness and requires a LOT of post processing.
So, if you want sharp images "out of the box", this camera is not for you (like it was not for me)
DSLR's concept of “in camera” sharpening is minimal or none, that is true, but...not that much please! Landscapes are blurry!
