I've had this camera for a few months. The only other digital camera that I used was my brothers Canon. I can not remember it's model, but it had 3.21 megapixels.
This is an excellent amateur camera. Does excellent close ups. With a normal daylight no need to use manual mode.
Colors come very vivid and lifelike. I used this camera to photograph through microscope in my bio class and pics came out better then in the atlas. . I did not make any movies yet. I heard people did not like this camera because it does not record sounds.
Problems:
There are very limited manual modes. It gets very slow in a dark, therefore I need to use a tripod while photographing in low light. Otherwise pics come out blurry.
Unlike my brother's Canon, this camera consumes a lot of power. A spare battery is a must for this camera if you need to use is for a while.
