Olympus C-5060 Wide Zoom review

I bought this camera about a year ago. It's my first digital camera. I'm totally satisfied with this Camera. I looked at a lot of cameras before I bought this one. I am in Commercial Real Estate so I wanted a wide angle lens to photograph buildings. The camera has supassed all of my expectations. I was able to use it out of the box even though I'm a beginner. I am gradually figuring out how to use all the features of this camera and continue to consult the manual. Although it's kind of a steep learning curve for a novice like me, it's a good interim camera to buy for those that wish to aspire to a higher level of photography and are not quite ready for an SLR. The camera takes excellent pictures! The long battery life is great, and I like the rotating LCD. The remote is great when you want to be in pictures too. I have used the "sports setting" successfully to catch a hawk in flight. The night setting is also great. The camera also takes fantastic pictures in the macro setting.

Problems:

I think the zoom could be better and I also hate the lens cover. Please print the next manual for us Olympus!
