What a camera the S7000 is. Bought mine in May 2004, and I use it mainly for portrait and model photography, and some landscape. Have taken over 20.000 pictures with it, without a problem. At some instances, I've taken up to 700 pictures in 2 hours time. And my S7000 kept on going without hesitation. This proves how close this thing is to a SLR.
Battery usage is very good : 400+ with one set of batteries and constantly flashing.
Image quality perfect, also when printing on paper.
Problems:
Only disadvantage : low quality view when using in dark circumstances, resulting in difficult focussing.
