I have given the DiMAGE X31 to my wife because she desired a very compact and easy-to-use digital camera: the X31 is excellent for these motives!
Considering the dimensions of the sensor, the quality is more satisfactory.
Problems:
It doesn't have the exit AV to see the photos on the TV; under conditions of scarce light the autofocus doesn't succeed in putting to fire.
