I have gone from the D1, D100, D70, and now the D-200. It took several months
for me to decide to make the switch from the D-70 to the D-200. I did this just
recently, and am very glad that I did. This camera has some really neat abilities.
Although the menus have alot of depth to them. So many of the features I will use
are "on the fly". I really like that.
5fps is a rate more than most of us will not need, it is very impressive. The AF of
the D-200 is great and the flexibility of the setup is fantastic. I like the Auto Focus
system of this camera.
Incompass all of this with the build and functionality of a great body and Nikon has
certainly done a fantastic job. The build should surely help keep out the moisture
and dust. I like the larger LCD, it is very readable. I love the 3D color matric meter,
it is "right on the money".
The 10+ megapixels will certainly help give us larger prints and I just bet that from
those photos I will be able to do some very successful cropping.
