I really wanted to like this camera. The size and the zoom are very tempting but unfortunately there are real noise issues on photos taken in anything but bright light. Pictures taken at night simply too noisy if you look at them on a good monitor. The camer is too large to be a "shirt pocket/take everywhere" camera and the photos simply are not good enough to give up my 20D on a vacation. If only Panasonic could make (or partner with someone who could) a noise-free sensor their camers would be great. But until then, steer clear.
