The P50 While it is only $199 or lower, take good pictures up to Iso 400.
Abouve Iso 400 there is alot of noise, but at 28 mm F2.8
you can take pictures in verry low licht.
De pictures look atleast above Iso 400 like true an mirror.
nibling detail from the pictures, and put some noise reduction artifacts.
At Iso 64 the pictures look just fine, seeing some artifacts to when you view at 100%
Super fine is not super fine enouch,at the prise SD cards cost.
But for the prise you pay,I think you won't find an better camera.
28 mm is normalee just for Dslr, and not so for compacts.
On the good side the camera is fast, you won't feel waiting at anything, even the flash take at max 2 sec.
for thad prise,I thid not find any camera at 28mm working with aa batteries and with the cheapo SD cards.
If you think this is an bad camera, then you think the wrong way.
It is verry licht, good Lcd screen, and use little power, even when the Lcd monitor is on,all the time.
Afcours there are better camera's out there.
but not for the cheapo prize below $200
Still is is an shoot and point camera, you can set some settings in P mode but thads it,only two apertures can be set F2.8 and F5.6
there is also an macro mode 4 Cm,flash ,timer, exposure.
alot of scenes to,even an sport mode, not sure of thad work ok.
Wat I found is thad the lens give you some barrel and distortion at 28mm and an little purpel fraying in high contrast pictures.
But the pictures look good, pixel peeping look for another camera.
tiny censors can't mats dslr censors.
also the level of detail is shrinking when Iso rise,or when the licht is fainting.
But you can put the P50 in your pocket all the time, and have 28 to 100 mm at any time.
Unfortenly my D70s do not fit in my pocket.lol
But having the P50 with me all the time,is nastie.
So I found no problems during use.
Problems:
compression of fine is to big, files to smal.
so you can see some artifacts at 100%
Under Iso 400 the camera wil do just fine
Above iso 400 there is alot of noise, artifacts, colored noise, reduction noise, nibling detail from your pictures,
