90% of my shots are in daylight and screen is impossible to see, especially when you have sun over your shoulder as is preferred. Quality drops as zoom increases and noise gets bad above iso200. Close up shots are good with iso100 and no zoom. Detail in landscape shots is poor. My olympus 540d cheapy takes better quality shots. Lx3 appears to have solved lens quality - but prefer 30-75mm lens. Camera needs some form of eyepiece for daytime and needs 2/3" senser with say 14mgpxls square cm. to make it lovable. Would like iso of 50 - not all cameras are party cameras. Shooting in raw takes a lot of time and effort and you don't always get much of an improvement.
