Can you turn lens retract off during 15+ second playback on FZ200?

From it not being addressed in the advanced manual, it seems you can't, but want to make sure. I do a lot of 15+ second playback while shooting, causing the lens to retract and want to tell it to stay put! Lens resume is on, but don't want to over work the motor or wait for the lens resume every time.

I find it annoying as well, but I just don't know any way to stop it from happening. I think we are stuck with it, unfortunately.

Nope! I absolutely hate the lens retraction. There should be an option to turn it off when reviewing and when the camera goes to sleep. I have set the camera never to go to sleep to avoid it as much as possible. When reviewing, you have to be very fast.

I will hack the heck out of my new FZ200 if Vitaliy Kiselev's hack addresses this issue. Last real update on it Feb 18: Vitaliy_Kiselev - "I'll make comment with time, do not worry." Link
