Hello fellow photographers,

I recently bought my first DSLR Canon 600d and a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM instead of the kit lens.

Now, that I was all into experimenting, reading literature and continuing to research about photo shooting, accessories etc, i came across the extension tubes. I found out that i do really like macro photography, but Sigma is not obviously a macro lens, for a nice piece of macro glass i simply don't have the budget, so i thought i might buy these extension tubes:

Polaroid Auto Focus DG Macro Extension Tube Set (13mm, 21mm, 31mm) For Canon Digital SLR Cameras

Question is whether tube and the sigma lens are compatible with each other. I couldn't find any info regarding that elsewhere, so i posting here.

Thanks in advance,

Aleks

As long as the tubes are for EF and EF-S lenses then they will work with any lens for Canon DSLRs. I do not see in your link where it says what formats it supports but I am assuming it supports both.
