Had a slow day at home and to my surprise I stumbled over the cat, fully awake, so thought I should try to see if she would be willing to let me take some photos!

Funny you have the f/1.4G and the picture information showed you used it like a f/1.8G. ;-)

Hej Lars

Like the last one (super flot)

No matter what lens you used the cat is gorgeous.

Wow! You cat reminds me of the one the wife and I lost this past December 28th. Her coat was a lot like yours, but she was a red torte. She had some Siamese in her along with all the usually expected chocolate points.

I always found it difficult taking pictures of mine (ahem, Jessie) as she seemed to know where to park herself where lighting was atrocious. Cats have no sense of cooperation. Mine was 18.5 years old at her passing. House is so quiet these days.

And yes, I've tripped over Jessie more than once. I thought she was trying to knock me off for the life insurance.

Her coat has turned a bit more towards the brown/red-ish color in her later years, she used to be completely black. Guess we all have to deal age in one form or the other at some point ;)

And yes, they never seem to want to cooperate, but then again, that's why I like them so much. They have their own opinions and do whatever suits them best!
