Congrats! My "Vancouver Downtown" entry is also in that challenge, so we are the perfect photo buddy in this!

I love this picture not because I was born in that city but also the way you captured. Nice composition, each buildings are well defined with shape and colour, yet they are well grouped as whole, the cloud also add some interesting depth to it.

I didn't know you were born in Shanghai. I have been there the first time in 1988. What a change since then, when I went there for the second time in 2007!

Wow thanks for the flattering words. I am just a keen amateur pursuing nice photography and having fun doing so. I like this forum we can learn so much from each other both artistically and technically.

Yeah Shanghai is a very dynamic city, it keeps changing (regenerating itself?) each and every year for the past two decades (at least to me). Last time when I was there it was 8 years ago, imagine the level of shock when I go there again next time! I would love to do some street photos, as well as some architectural shooting there.

Congrats to you and Amateur Sony Shooter! That was a tough competition - lots of excellent images. For me, it would be very hard to pick a winner - especially among the top ten or so.
 
Excellent capture. Wow! Finishing 6th should be a real pat on the back.

456th in God's Address with a Bird in the Sky entry and 137th in Portraits with a flower pic. I guess we haven't made much progress in stereotype interpretations on photographic subjects :-) :-O :-D .
