Reading mode: Light Dark

can't decide which image i like better

Took these shots at the Phoenix Zoo. Can't decide which I like better. Thoughts?

I used a d800 with a 300 mm lense.

Both nice, but #2 is best IMO since it doesn't have the fence in the background.
 
I see the issue w the fence but is well blurred as it stands and could be blurred out more with post processing. I do not like that part of the leopard's head is chopped off on picture 2. Also, I like the lighting more on #1.

The intense looks have been well captured in both. I think in No. 2 either both the ears should have been in the fgrame or a tight close up of the eyes and below.
