I noticed the background too -- but you mentioned purposely lighting the background with the second light (?).. so maybe that was your intent. I like my black backgrounds invisibly black, so I'd avoid illumination on them; using a snoot or other means to block peripheral light from the "hair light" will help with that (along with getting it high, pointing down on the top of the head). A third light can help with that, with the 3rd one dedicated as the hair light, giving you more control with the placement & intensity of secondary. Also, not sure if you went with raw or jpg, but I always shoot these raw (DRO can really pull out the textures in the black that you may not want) to get the best control with controlling shadow/highlight and black level to really get a handle on things.G6u7a1m wrote:
