Decision on Sony Cyber Shot HX30V

Hi all, iam looking to buy a new camera, wanting to get the sony HX30v becuase of its features. but i keep seeing bad reviews. iam useing this camera for everyday use. landscapes, family friends...... i tested out the HX20V at BestBuy which is the same camera without the wifi.

What i noticed with this camera is any reds, oranges and it seems yellows dont show up as there true color. dark reds tuned out bright red, orange turned out looking reddish and yellow was just brighter then what the actual object is.. is this happening for any particular reason or is there a way to change this. plz help me on my decision of buying this camera.

Funny I 've only seen good reviews on the Hx20v/30v It was one of the best travelzooms out there last year can yo direct us to those reviews?

Ok Make sure the camera isn't set on vivid, but really you can't tell by looking on the back screen of the camera. On the Computer they will look fine. Sony do tend to put a bit more "punch" in there colours I suggest you have a look on flickr for photos from the Hx20v it will give you an idea of what you can achieve with the Hx20v/30v

Thx alot for the info.. yea I was seeing the color difference on the screen... And the bad reviewsi read on various sites and some on here said that there was alot of over proccessing... But that wasn't my concern... Iam just looking fora good camera with true colors...thx again. Ill probably go with the HX30V
