Hi everyone! I'm waiting on a few adapters to come in the mail, and while I wait I was wondering what lenses everyone is shooting with besides the usual suspects. Does anybody have a favorite lens in the 24-30mm range that's moderately fast?

Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 SC

I've used only a couple of lenses in that range: Canon 35/2 LTM (L39) and Cosina 35/2 M mount. Both are fantastic, but the latter is extremely heavy and large on the X. The Canon may be a bit sharper, but the Zeiss labelled lens has a nicer aperture mechanism and is newer.

My favorite is MD W.ROKKOR-X 24 mm 1:2.8. Light, sharp, great colours.

Thanks,

Nikon 24 2.8 AIS works for me.

I bought my Kipon adapter to use my Eos EF L lenses 100mm mlacro and 70-200mm f4, waitinf end of this year for the XF equivalent 55-200mm

I have these:

Minolta MD W.Rokkor-x 24 mm 2.8

Pentax 8 element 50mm 1.4 Super Takumar

Nikon 28mm 2.8 ais

Nikon 50mm 1.2 ais

Nikon 85mm 2 ais

All are with Rainbow Imaging adapters. I don't like to mess around with these, there is one for each lens.

The Nikons are the best, but also the largest. The Pentax is the hardest to focus.

if I was to keep just one, it would be the Nikon 28mm. A really super lens.

Note: I have all three Fuji primes, but don't really use them...

- Nikon 50mm f/1.8 E manual lens with adapter. A real bargain!

- Rokinon 8mm fisheye for fuji X-mount, this is my fun lens :)

- considering a Nikon 105 f/2.8 AI lens.they go for around $160

I have a range of Nikon manual lenses to use on my the Xpro1. I have the Kipon adaptor,

The best is my Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AIS. Lovely silky film like image.

The AI 55mm f3.5 macro is also nice as is the AIS 105mm f2.5.

Wow the Minolta 24 2.8 looks great! That said, I might go nikon just for potential use with a speed booster whenever metabones comes out with the nikon version. I'll update with photos when my adapters come in this weekend. Thanks for the replies everyone :)
