Well done in composing and almost well done in pp.

Just a hint : Some shadow areas contain a heavy blueish color cast. Probably due to having the WB run in "sunlight" mode making all shadows blue. Adjust that to a warmer tone.

The dolphin image shows the typical grey color in areas that should be white. Probably due to overdone highlight recovery. If it's blown, leave it white.

But these are just a few small glitches. Not a big deal.

Thats Meeru, right? :)

Fantastic place, was there last year, definitelly going back this year (but probably to some other resort in the Maldives). Thanks for reminding :) lovely pictures...

My fav is #10 (boat with the sunset) but they're all very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shots! Thanks for posting :) The highlights were overblown on a couple but I love the colors and especially the subtle texture of the water. The Maldives is on my list of places I'd like to see. Maybe someday! I'd love to see more of your photos :)

Thank you for the guidelines... My skills in pp are still in progress, everyday something new to learn :-)

Glad that you liked them...The resort was Vilamendhoo. Very good price/comfort ratio :) and a beautiful reef around the island.

Very glad that you liked the photos... Thank you all for the kind thoughts.

got a bit confused, since Meeru has exactly the same sailboat. Vilamendhoo is in plan (mainly because of the lovely house reef)..hopefully this year :)

They are all beautiful pictures, what a nice place.

Most pictures are at 24mm, but others are at 32, 70 and 14mm, did you use a 14-24G and a 24-70G?

Thanks and congrats

Ricardo

Those pictures are beautiful, you did a great job with the camera.

Thank you for posting.

Or rather tomorrow morning at 4 AM. The snow storm kind of scares me. Missing my flight would be expensive. Those are great pictures you took. I'm not bringing my Nikon D700 but my Olympus OM-5 ( that's what I call it ). We'll see how it performs. I'm taking 3 ( small ) lenses that weigh next to nothing and take up half the space my Nikon would take. I'm starting to think Nikon should come out with a "almost" professional mirrorless camera.

dolphin into the sunset is great ...

super set - great color

Thank you, and yes these are the 2 lenses that I had with me: 14-24 and 24-70 Nikorr :).

That one was the merit of the D800... It's such a super-camera with a super auto-focus system :)
