If Fuji finds some way of adding peaking to the X-Pro1 I would definitely purchase one of these adapters. There are quite a few good old lenses that would become super lenses for portraiture. The problem I have with the current manual focusing situation is relying on the EVF (and my judgement).

This product does seem too good to be true. But its legit!

if you're after Leica R lenses be quick and get as many as you can, Leica will release soon new M and there are already quite a few people who started to collect R lenses.

No Leica for me. Can't justify those prices.

Olympus and Minolta have some nice lenses.

I am pretty sure the prices of R-Glass will be shooting up real soon. Some of their telephoto lenses are pretty cool. I wouldn't mind one of their Vario-Elmar lenses on the new Leica M. (DREAM AWAY)!!!! using focus peaking or the EVF!!!

maybe this: Leica R Zoom f/2.8 with new M body just under $20k!!!

If I could use my Canon lenses I'll be quite happy.

Perhaps only on a few wide angle and normal lenses (and zooms). Anything longer than 135 you really need a steady hand or a tripod to pin point focus. The lack of AF, IS, along with impatient, lack of skill users the demand for MF tele would remain low. Oh, and not to mention those prices!

I hope Leica would reintroduce the R lenses in other mounts like Zeiss does! IF the demand is showing a pulse.

My Canon 70-200/4 would be really nice :)

This product does seem too good to be true. But its legit!

Without focus peaking and the relatively high price of Leica R lenses, why is the Leica R to Fuji X SpeedBooster desirable?

Is there no focus peaking with fujifilm cameras if there is a speedbooster used?

The OP was refering specifically to the X-Pro 1 which I assume does not have focus peaking,

It may not have had peaking at the time of this original post. I still use my XP1. I think it got (white) peaking by FW update. White isn't the best in my view but I mostly use standard mag rather than peaking - I find peaking very imprecise. even on the latest models.

Ugh. I just realized this is 5 year old thread. Why do these keep getting revived???
