Did anyone try to print larger than 13x19

From FZ200 or LX7? How does print look?

Well, a 16x20 inch print of this photo of a wine crusher screw hung in the winery tasting room for about a year & got several offers to buy it but the tasting staff didn't know I'd be happy to sell it.

Now it hangs in my stairwell:

It was taken with a TZ5, so I'd say, yes, go ahead and print.

Erik,

If that doesn't convince him, nothing will. In addition to which, I'd add, two things would probably make this material available for a still larger print:
  1. A touch of noise reduction (if needed -- probably not)
  2. Increasing image size with OneOne Perfect resize.
With that, I'd say 24 x 30 anytime.

16x20's are easy for this camera. Yes noise is an issue but not much of one. I have had several 16x20's done at Costco, and all who see them are impressed. Costco is cheap enough to try it, and then judge for yourself.

You got that right!

Costco prints are awesome for the price, and well worth it.

The photo I used was from before I had a good noise reduction - Topaz - and I would run it bt Topaz if I were getting a print today, so yes, both of you are right: even larger, no problem!

In the past several days I had been thinking of doing some macros from larger prints, just to illustreate how sharp they are.

Thanks for your question, Lee!

No, but I've had plenty of 16x20 prints done by Mpix out of the FZ35, and since those look great I assume you'll be delighted with yours as well.

I have several 12X16s made from my Sony 5MP F717 and they look great. On those I increased file size in Genuine Fractals but it doesn't work with my latest computer. (Bummer.) I'm wondering if Erik increased file size before printing his 16X20.
