Photo samples with Sigma Macro Lenses

Good morning folks,

I was wondering if you guys could post a few shots taken by Sigma Macro lenses, like

Sigma 70mm, 105mm and of course the 150mm macro. I'm just tryinh to compair the quality of these lenses before decidiodng to buy any of those.

You can probably find many samples on Flickr or pixel-peeper.com
 
...so we'd have a dedicated place to post queries like this.
 
Go to the Sigma forum. They have lots of experience with those lenses.

The 70 is considered the sharpest of those. The 150 gives you better distance to insects if that what you are after.

Yes, I am mostly after flowers and insects, so I think the 150mm would be a better choice for me.

I have a few taken with the 105/2.8:

This one is actually MUCH sharper than it appears here on the DPR gallery. For instance, the eyelids are tack sharp and they don't show that way here for some reason.



And then an impromptu setup of a few shots after a bee surprised me in our kitchen (also taken with the 105):
