I would like to purchase the optional hand grip for my XE-1 one but no one seems to even carry it. I see it available for the Xpro-1 but not the XE-1. What's the deal?

Agree, I'm waiting for amazon to stock it but its taking forever. I made a thread about it and everyone came in just telling me to get a leather half case or wait for the RRS grip, but I want the fuji and wont pay the $150 people are asking for on eBay.

Hi MoonMan,

I brought mine in Sydney, Australia a few weeks back and am loving it. It adds just the right amount of extra "volume" to the body area that suits my hand size. I do recommend them, only downside is that you'll need to remove griip to change battery, it's easy to take off/on and fits very snuggly.

Just to further annoy you, I'm here in Tokyo right now and am just back from shopping - visiting the Fuji stand at BIC Camera in Shinjuku. Crikey, they have all the Fuji accessories in stock right in front of me (for both XPro-1 and X-E1)
  1. Grip
  2. Flash units
  3. Leather cases
  4. Straps
  5. 18, 35, 60 and 18-55mm lenses
  6. NOT the 14mm though
Maybe check their website at: BIC Camera Website

I bought a handgrip in Vienna (Austria), but after some weeks of use I forget very often to reinstall him after changing the battery or after changing the SD-card. The grip on the forefront is to far away from the center of gravity and to inclined to provide a substantial better hold. For me: If you also consider the price, i would say: Not recommended. The grip on the OM-D is a completly other story.

I also have the grip and for me it's a massive improvement. It just feels so much better when I shoot with only one hand.
