Timelapse Test - Mini Mode

Yes this feature is awesome for sure, at first I wanted it to be $5 not $10 but the fun I am having already paid for it :D
I am still not sure about the Cinematic photo one...looks fun but I am not sure what else I can do with it besides the example.
I need more imagination :D

I think I'll take a pass on the Cinematic Photo Apps. Its use is quite limited, and it looks like a pain to do the processing afterwards without a mouse or touch screen.

Looks amazing! So it's actually possible to combine the functionality of two apps, didn't know that.

No, Timelapse and Cinematic Photo are two separate Apps, you cannot combine them.

OTOH, you can set pictures effect like the Mini mode from within the Time Lapse App.

Looks pretty sweet. What kind of settings did you use to record these (ie. frame rate, intervals, etc.)? How long did it take?

I still haven't downloaded this app yet, but I'm really leaning towards it after seeing this!

I used the standard settings of the "mini" mode in the timelapse app. The only thing I changed was the record time/number of shots. If you're curious here are the exact settings:

24fps, 2 sec interval, 900 shots, 37sec video, 30 minutes coverage. Also it was shot as an .AVI

Hope this helps,

Whoa, 900 shots/actuations? If that's the case, this app will wear down this camera fast...
If you start counting like this, you would need to avoid a lot of other functions too.

900 shots is only equivalent to 150 shots using handheld twilight, anti-motion blur or multi-frame noise reduction. What about bracketing or HDR? This would wear out the shutter too, no?

Nice video there. Have you testet how many shots you get on one battery on full charge till it runs out?

Really nice example! to the post worried about shutter actuations. I wouldn't worry about it. You've got an electronic first curtain in your NEX! I'm on the original NEX-5 I don't have that luxury and I've taken loads of snaps :-)

That is really awesome. Makes me wish my NEX-7 had the capability for that app.

Thats really impressive!
