yes i used ai servo, works well but still a lot of missed shot with these speedsWell done. It is hard to get the cars just right with the
background blurred like that. I took over 300 photos at Le Mans
last year and only about a dozen or so were "keepers". Good
shooting.
Did you pre-focus or AI servo? If it was the latter then the 10D is
a big jump from the D30 (I couldn't get a single photo in focus
with AI servo!).

thats right stefanVery beautifull pictures. I've just received my 10D and I am a
beginner in SLR. How do you create motion effect on the back of the
picture ? Do you follow the subject during the picture ?

use a not to high shutterspeed and follow the car while taking the
shot.
keep following during the shot...
Hi John,Nice work Jimmy. I'm envious! I've been to the USGP at Indy since
inception, but I can never find a spot where I don't have to shoot
through catch fencing and am still able to get a frame filling shot
with a 200. I took my 400mm 2.8 IS last year, but even with that it
was a challenge. There are fences all over. Did you have a pass to
get inside the catch fences or is Barcelona a little less
confined, at least from a photographic standpoint?
