>>>Saturday B&W Thread - 12/8/2012>>>

Susan you could use the qiuck selection tool on the sky and take the saturation down for one solution. Like the shot but i think if shot at smaller aperture would have taken out some light reflection creating something halfway in the frame .

Dez, that is simply "Awesome"!

Rick

excellent Rick they look better then the colour ones. I guess you had some bad indoor lights that distroyed the WB. Loved your other thread to. On the other thread some were off others ok for wb/colour. but nice compositions. Next time bring a grey card and shoot raw+jpeg i think.

Excellent Frank ! We should have some arround here but so damn hard to locate and capture!

Nice Michel. I don't know but cropping out the farm at the left might make it also interesting.

Lee, I don't think anyone does coast of Cornwall better than you. That is one Majestic image of approaching winter. Beautiful!

Rick

Peg, I am compelled to break waiting till later in the week to comment, this frame tells me your are very much alive, well and still flexing that wonderful eternally youthful intellect. Your Medici self portrait still resonates strongly here, you are wasted in this time frame - like some fascinating package more suited to gliding the long halls of 17th century Versailles, all the while bringing an intriguing freshness and spontaneity to the everyday proceedings. My very best to you. :-D

That is a beautiful setting - looks like the courtyard is surrounded by lush forest. Nice crisp B&W, Deepak.

Rick

It's not Saturday anymore but here's a couple from me anyway.

Taken on different days but it's the same building, The Sage in Gateshead - a music and arts centre.

I like the one in monochromatic blue, Maarten. It appears that one bird is wearing an ankle bracelet :-O .

Rick

LOL - Nice processing, David.

Rick

Great details, Max. Its like from an Ultra Fine Grain Film.

Rick

Peg, very nice minimalist composition - and I like the compressed telephoto effect - looks great in B&W!

Rick

Beautiful sets, Brian. Is your G10 converted to IR? Very serene and ethereal.

Rick

Susan, what a gorgeous view from your Walmart parking lot. If I was there - I'd go for a nice walk - taking in the beautiful scenery feeling relaxed - then go right back in for Power Shopping! :-D

Rick

OMG, poor kitty used as target practice.

Rick

Whoa! Frank, that's a gorgeous image! Great capture of a fine looking bird of prey!

Rick

Dramatic Clouds indeed, Michel. They almost look subtropical. Beautiful shot!

Rick

Nice captures, Siggi! If Batman has a Batmobile then this must be for Robin. He could deploy exploding eggs launched from the nest in the cargo space. And Batman would say "Holy _ _ !"

(Bleeped Out Inappropriate Word) to Robin. :-D
