Can someone tell me how to profile my 5Diii and 5D for skin tones please.

Profiles are specific to which image processor you’re using. For instance some allow you to create presets which can be scene specific meaning created for a flash picture or sunny day or overcast etc. Color Checker Passport is a package that allows you to create a DNG profile which can be used with some processors. Capture One Pro7 allows you to make a profile/preset using your camera and a color chart.



You can do your own color corrections on an image and save that as a preset. Commercial profiles made for cameras use a shotgun approach meaning one size fits all rather than custom made for each color balanced situation.

Solution
I use a Grey Card as a starting point and then tweak the image to what looks pleasing. I do use a calibrated monitor too.
