Thanks all. I was hired a few years ago, to photograph 10 different items for a company wishing to publish "bad luck/harm" greetings cards. This voodoo doll shot was one of them :)

I had inadvertently left my Nokia 808 set to 50 ISO so I got an exposure time of 2.7 seconds (with only the TV and a tungsten lamp as illumination) which gave it a lot of motion blur but combined with the amazing detail on the girl sitting still in the middle gives it a slightly surreal air.

Do check out the "original size" version in the gallery.


The colour version worked as well but the colours were a bit distracting.

Good image, Yello.. sometimes is hard to believe how capable could be the phone cameras.. seems the focus was set to checkered shirt, very crisp and sharp! Well done, thanks for sharing :D ..
