forum. Now basic photography 101. Maybe the book might cover what a PC cord is and what it is used for. Or the basics of exposure and composition...
 
You know the D800 is a consumer camera when the owners are asking:

What is the best memory card to use?

What lens should I buy?

A $2000 price tag is hardly high end. I remember when the D1x was a bargain at 4K and memory was $1 per MB. So post your best work, focus issues have been acknowledged by Nikon so should go away, and with luck there will not be too many DUMMY's.
