In a previous thread, someone asked about the best places to photograph in St. Louis.

I started thinking (always dangerous) that it might be interesting to have a "Best of St. Louis" Web page that displayed great scenes of my city.

So here is the contest:

Send me your favorite shot of St. Louis, I will post it on my web page and everyone who submits a photo will have an opportunity to vote on their favorites.

My web page is not commercial in any way and will, of course, not be used for any commercial endeavor. All copyright protection will be enforced.

Send your entry to [email protected]. Please limit the size of the photo to 2mb. I will be accepting entries until May 15th, voting will start May 17th and the winners will be announced May 24th.

So if you have shots of the Arch, Zoo, Cardinals, or any other St. Louis subject, dust them off and send them in.

Russell,

I find it amazing that on the World Wide Web that I would find another person from my home town on the same website and in the same forum, it's really a small WWW ;> )

It truely is a small WWW when I find not one but two poeple on the same website in the same forum that are from the same town that I have called home all of my life.

Now I have to go through all of my St. Louis photos and pick out the ones to submit.

Great idea Russell

I find it amazing... never mind.

Good to hear from both of you. It really is a small world. I am not a native but have been here for 10 years. I consider this my new home town.

People should know about great places like Augusta in the fall (October fest and Missouri Wine), Ted Drewe's, Old St. Charles, and all the other great locations. I thought this might be a great way to share our small part of the world.
I was also interested to see what types of photos I would get from visitors.

So far I have two entries, keep them coming!
