--This was Very, Very, Very hard for me, but the winner was Cara
Davis' Magnolia blossum.
Some really wonderful images folks. Thanks for participating.
. . .
And now it's up to Cara to pick the topic for Mini Challenge 3.

--Thanks Matthew! And thanks everyone for your congratulations. I
wasn't expecting anything, just so happy to be out taking pictures
after a very long/awful winter. Besides the weather, I hadn't been
taking many pictures at all anywhere!
To take the shot I used my 707 and the Olympus MCON-35 macro lens.
ISO 100, F2.8, 1/160. I was basically IN the tree and boy did it
smell good!
Thanks again. I'll be back with the next challenge in a bit....
Best,
Cara

--Is it like a lens converter too? Is it still being made? I really
like my Olympus B300.
If it's not available any more, can I ask where you bought it and
about what you paid?
TIA

... can be a lovely sight after a long, cold, dark, and icy winter
(as we had here in Richmond, VA). Behold the mighty dandelion, the
beautimous cockroach of the flower world!

--I got it at B&H - I think it was somewhere in the $85 dollar range?
You need to use a step-up ring with it - it's a 62 and the 707 is a
58 (I'm pretty sure this is correct.) Then you just screw it onto
the end of the Sony lens. I'm assuming that's what you do with the
b300? (I have the TCON too.)
I really like doing flower macros so I use this lens a lot.
