STF Mini Challenge 2 -- Spring has Sprung!

Thanks Matthew! And thanks everyone for your congratulations. I wasn't expecting anything, just so happy to be out taking pictures after a very long/awful winter. Besides the weather, I hadn't been taking many pictures at all anywhere!

To take the shot I used my 707 and the Olympus MCON-35 macro lens.
ISO 100, F2.8, 1/160. I was basically IN the tree and boy did it smell good!

Thanks again. I'll be back with the next challenge in a bit....
Best,
Cara

Hi Cara,

Is it like a lens converter too? Is it still being made? I really like my Olympus B300.

If it's not available any more, can I ask where you bought it and about what you paid?

TIA

DeeDee

It's still being made - actually, I just bought a new one a couple of weeks ago because I accidentally left my other one somewhere!

I got it at B&H - I think it was somewhere in the $85 dollar range?

You need to use a step-up ring with it - it's a 62 and the 707 is a 58 (I'm pretty sure this is correct.) Then you just screw it onto the end of the Sony lens. I'm assuming that's what you do with the b300? (I have the TCON too.)

I really like doing flower macros so I use this lens a lot.
