Mack 5 year warranty for the f717

Plan to buy the SOny F717, what internet store? also is the Mack 5 year warranty worth the money? B&H (cheapest) sells if for $65.00. Thanks, sure is hard finding a trusting company to buy from. Rang from $655.00 and up.

B&H is a trustworthy store. Don't know if Mack has changed but I bought an extended warranty for a camcorder many years ago. When I had to send it in for service, they took almost 3 weeks to even look at the camcorder. Then it took them a week to fix and a week transit time back. All in all, the camcorder was away for 6 weeks and to top it off, did not work when I got it back. Maybe they have changed but I wouldn't buy a warranty from them again.

--I paid $49 for mine. As far as trust worthy goes you have found one of the best. They have refunded my money twice once on a camera and one printer.

I recently bought my 717 from B&H along with the Mack 5-yr warranty. I trust 'em this time, because Mack was also the vendor 2 yrs ago when I got my 505V. I.e., at least they've been around awhile. However, I have not had to use the service.
